Jennifer Day Tariq, Education Director of the Douglas-Hart Nature Center will join us to present on her personal observations of Canada Geese on her 100-acre family homestead (Day Farms) in rural Effingham county. Join us to hear about the family drama of Canada Geese from 30+ years of observations from Day Farms that finally led to tagging the geese. We will also learn about the rules of tagging birds in Illinois and hear about Douglas-Hart Nature Center's educator, Megan Lomas' experience with tagging Canada Geese for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
