The Douglas-Hart Nature Center is located at 2204 DeWitt Avenue East, the corner of Lerna Road and DeWitt Avenue. The Douglas-Hart Nature Center consists of 65 acres of native Illinois habitat, including prairie, woodland, and wetland.

There are several ways to be a friend to the Douglas-Hart Nature Center. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and are self-supporting (no tax dollars). We rely on donations from our community to keep our quality programs going and our quality of natural habitats to the  highest potential.

Your donation is tax deductible to the extent of the law.
wish list
Monetary donations are wonderfully beneficial, but we have a long wish list too. Maybe you would like to donate birdseed or educational materials.
volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of our center. Do you have a little extra time to donate for our many programs, festivals, or conservation efforts?
