In the Community

Community Outreach
In community- Adult/Families
We love being involved in the community whenever we can. However, with a small staff, that isn't always possible. That's where you can help us! If you enjoy talking to people in the community, help us work a booth for an event. If you like the excitement of parades, volunteer to walk with us in one! Together we can help connect our community to nature.

Accessibility requirements: vary by activity.

Festivals
DHNC, FG, WG- Adult/Families
As a non-profit, festivals are a key part of our funding. Whether you want to dress in a costume, work logistics (food, organizing groups, etc.), or work a booth (craft, game, information, etc.), there is something for everyone.

Accessibility requirements: vary depending on festival. Can include walking up to a mile on our flat trail, hospitality, and adaptability
