Call for Presenters

Who Can Present?

Anyone who has a passion, experience, or career that aligns with homestead living! The Douglas-Hart Foundation is seeking individuals, businesses, or other organizations to provide educational presentations or demonstrations for the Modern Homesteading 2024 Conference.

What to Expect:

  • Presentations are expected to be 40-60 minutes. Duration will be finalized after presenter selections. 
  • Depending on interest, we may offer concurrent sessions which means you would present during the same time as another presenter and participants will select which presentation they would like to attend during that time slot. 
  • Presentation topics should align to homesteading. See suggestions below. Please note this list is not to be all inclusive.
  • Each presentation room will have a table and chair for the presenter and lecture style seating for participants (chairs in rows). Set-up can be modified by special request if needed.
  • We are accepting Requests to Present through November 30, 2023.
  • We may not be able to accommodate all requests to present, so please note that submitting a proposal does not guarantee a presentation time slot.
  • Selections will be made in December, and all individuals that submitted proposals will be notified of decisions. After selections, we will make the conference schedule, so you will know your presentation date/time.
  • Small travel stipends may be available upon request. No stipends for lodging available.

  • All presenters receive a FREE full conference registration.
  • This is a great opportunity to share your passion and knowledge with other likeminded individuals.
