Large Groups at the Visitor Center

Picture
  • Please contact the Nature Center if you plan on bringing a group larger than 10 individuals. 217-235-4644 or email programs@dhnature.org or fill out the form below.
  • If you would like to reserve the Discovery Den Play Group for your group, a fee of $20 will be charged.
  •  Why do we ask large groups to contact us? There are days at the Nature Center when there are other large groups visiting: Field Trips, Homeschool, Special events, programs, Scout groups, and more.
  • Is this different from a field trip? Yes. A field trip is a reserved date and time with a Douglas-Hart Nature Center staff person accompanying you on your hike and Visitor Center experience. To reserve a field trip, click here.
