About UsA Permaculture ClubPermaculture is a method of land management that embraces the environment’s natural processes to create a sustainable lifestyle at home. Each month the Forest Friend’s club advisor, Megan Martin, will lead the group in discussion, walks, and/or projects that encompasses the principles of permaculture, with an emphasis on wild edibles.

This club will meet monthly to discuss and identify wild edibles with other related topics throughout the year! Meetings may be replaced with special outings, guest speakers, or other exciting opportunities!

Meeting will be held at the Douglas-Hart Nature Center (2204 DeWitt Ave E, Mattoon, IL 61938), unless otherwise specified.
